Fun Friday ~ E-Design Halloween Contest!

I love Fall. It is my favorite season. I love the crisp air, bright sunshine, only using a small amount of anti-frizz to keep my hair in check.... I also love Halloween. Jim, Lauren and I have already selected our costumes. Lauren barely eats the candy she gets but she LOVES to wear the costume!

Lauren and I were walking Millie, our dog, when Lauren said, "Mom, look over there!" Before our eyes was my neighbor's yard wonderfully decorated with Halloween delights! Peanut characters, friendly scare crows, black cats, and bundles of hay. How fun! I took pictures of it during the day and at night. Aren't they fantastic? Simone, my stylish neighbor, said I could use them for the blog. Thanks Simone! The picture at the top is her front steps.


I felt inspired to gather photos from all over to see just how folks decorate for Halloween. Then I thought, I've been itching to give-away a Virtual Design ~ why not combine the two?? And the Halloween Contest was born!


Here's how its going to work ~

1) Email a photo of your home's Halloween decorations or a favorite Halloween display (make sure you get permission if it is not your property) by October 25th (please put Halloween Contest in the subject line) ~ paula@paulagracedesigns.com.

2) Tell me in the email why you would like or need a Virtual Design ~ be creative.

3) If you are altruistically inclined, you may enter on behalf of someone else ~ simply tell me about the person you are entering for and why they need or deserve the design.

4) On October 26th, the voting will begin. I'll post the photos I receive with their story and you all (my readers) will vote for the winner.

5) Voting will officially close Thursday, October 29th at 8:00 pm.

6) The winner will be announced in my Fun Friday post on October 30th.

These are the pumpkins Jim and Lauren painted. The large one is Jim's. Its suppose to be Mini Mouse. It looks more like Fozzy Bear from the Muppet Show if you ask me (shhh, don't tell him ~ he is very proud of his artwork!).
